About The Position
Sobe Innovative Rehab is seeking a passionate and experienced Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide exceptional care to older adults. The role focuses on helping patients remain active, independent, and safely aging in place. The organization is an outpatient therapy provider dedicated to helping patients live healthier, more independent lives through proactive, preventative care addressing mobility, strength, balance, and function.
Requirements
- Licensed, practicing PTA with 3+ years of experience.
- Passionate about helping older adults live independently.
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient-focused.
- Organized with strong time-management skills.
- A confident communicator and team player.
- Comfortable working independently.
- Creative, flexible, and adaptable.
- Committed to timely documentation and high-quality care.
- Confident using clinical judgment to individualize treatment.
Responsibilities
- Manage a full caseload and provide individualized treatments.
- Primarily treat patients in Assisted Living Facilities (ALFs), with occasional home/community visits.
- Manage your patient schedule within the 9:00 AM–5:30 PM workday.
- Communicate with patients, families, caregivers, and clinical staff.
- Exercise clinical autonomy while collaborating with experienced therapists.
- Complete documentation within 48 hours.
- Help patients improve strength, mobility, balance, function, and quality of life.
