About The Position

We are hiring a Physical Therapist Assistant for our Inpatient Rehabilitation facility located in Pensacola, Florida. This full-time position involves providing physical therapy interventions under the guidance of a physical therapist, utilizing appropriate techniques for the patient population, and documenting treatment interventions. The role may also involve coordinating the activities of physical therapy aides, students, and other support personnel.

Requirements

BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) credentialed from the Florida Board of Physical Therapy Practice prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

Provide physical therapy interventions under a plan of care written by a physical therapist.
Perform therapy interventions utilizing techniques and skills as appropriate for the patient population.
Document treatment interventions given.
May coordinate activities of physical therapy aides, students and other support personnel.
