Human Touch Home Health is seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our growing team serving patients throughout Richmond, Henrico, Chesterfield, Mechanicsville, Glen Allen, Midlothian, Hanover, and surrounding communities. As a Home Health Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll work alongside a supervising Physical Therapist to help patients regain strength, improve mobility, reduce pain, and achieve the goals that matter most to them. Requirements

Active Virginia Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) License Required
Valid Driver's License and Reliable Transportation
Strong Communication and Documentation Skills

Home Health Experience Preferred but Not Required

Responsibilities

Provide skilled physical therapy treatments under the direction of a Physical Therapist
Implement individualized treatment plans
Monitor patient progress and communicate findings to the supervising Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and fall prevention
Assist patients in improving strength, balance, endurance, and functional mobility
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation
