About The Position

Mountain View Pain Center is seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant for its busy outpatient multidisciplinary office in Northglenn, CO. The clinic specializes in outpatient orthopedics, with a smaller percentage of vestibular and neurological patients. There is an opportunity to grow pelvic floor therapy services, and experience or interest in this area is a plus. The center emphasizes patient-centered care and provides employees with the tools for clinical growth and effective patient treatment. The PT philosophy focuses on treating the whole patient using movement as medicine, achieved through interdisciplinary teamwork to meet patient goals.

Requirements

Active Colorado State License
Comply with the Physical Therapy Assistant Licensure and Certification Standards
Have an active BLS Certification, the class must be at least hybrid, if not completely in person
Must have a current Colorado Physical Therapy Assistant license before first day of hire.

Responsibilities

Communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plans.
Participate in patient plan of care meetings and communicate with the Physical Therapist any pertinent information concerning patient progress, problems and plan.
Record treatment notes and complete notes in a timely manner per policy and procedures.
Participate in discharge planning under the supervision of the Physical Therapist.
Recommend any needed equipment to the Physical Therapist.
Accept other duties assigned.
Exercise good judgment in the performance of the job and be able to progress and regress patients as needed.
Successfully incorporate technology into daily practice as deemed by the Company.
