About The Position

Carolina SeniorCare is seeking a Physical Therapist to join their dynamic team. As a leading non-profit provider of PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) services in Lexington, NC, Carolina SeniorCare is dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors with compassion and excellence. The Physical Therapist will utilize their expertise in fall prevention, optimize physical movement and independence, provide comprehensive DME recommendations, and collaborate as an integral member of an interdisciplinary team. The position offers the opportunity to practice in an innovative care model serving older adults, utilizing a state-of-the-art therapy gym and equipment.

Requirements

Graduate of a physical therapy curriculum approved by: The American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), The Committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation of the American Medical Association, The Council on Medical Education of the American Medical Association and the APTA, or another equivalent organization approved by the Secretary
Current North Carolina Physical Therapy License required
Current CPR Certification required
Minimum of one year of experience working with a frail or elderly population required

Nice To Haves

Experience preferred in one or more of the following settings: Outpatient Rehabilitation, Home Health, Acute Care/Hospital, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Long-Term Care/Skilled Nursing
Advanced clinical training and specialty certifications are highly desired
