About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Inpatient & Outpatient Rehab for an exciting opportunity in Juneau, AK. This is a permanent, full-time position with a $25,000 sign-on bonus and $10,000 relocation assistance. The role involves implementing treatment plans, providing therapy interventions, documenting patient progress, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team in both inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation settings.

Requirements

Associate Degree from a CAPTE-accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program required
Active PTA license required
BLS certification required
Valid driver’s license required
Strong knowledge of anatomy, biomechanics, and movement science
Strong communication and interdisciplinary teamwork skills
Documentation and EMR proficiency
Ability to work in physically demanding clinical environments

Nice To Haves

Acute care or outpatient rehabilitation experience preferred
Experience with adaptive equipment and mobility training preferred

Responsibilities

Implement treatment plans established by Physical Therapists
Provide therapy interventions to patients across inpatient and outpatient settings
Document treatment sessions, patient responses, and progress notes
Assist with mobility training, adaptive equipment fitting, and functional exercises
Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care coordination
Support discharge planning and home exercise program education
Ensure patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols
Maintain therapy equipment, supplies, and treatment spaces
Collaborate with providers, nurses, and rehabilitation team members
Provide patient and caregiver education for home-based recovery
