Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – PRN
About The Position
San Bruno Skilled Nursing is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join its permanent, in-house rehabilitation team on a PRN basis. The role is based at a skilled nursing facility in San Bruno, near the 380 freeway and El Camino Real, and is part of a collaborative clinical environment focused on patient-centered care, clinical excellence, and interdisciplinary teamwork. The Physical Therapist Assistant delivers treatments under physician-approved plans to improve and restore residents’ mobility and function. The role also involves coordinating recovery with the multidisciplinary team, mentoring Restorative Aides, training caregivers to support successful discharges, and maintaining timely, accurate documentation in compliance with California PT Board requirements. Compensation starts at $50–$52+ per hour.
Requirements
- Valid California PTA License.
Responsibilities
- Deliver treatments following physician-approved plans to improve and restore residents’ mobility and function.
- Participate in multidisciplinary conferences to coordinate comprehensive patient recovery.
- Mentor Restorative Aides.
- Provide caregiver training to support successful discharges.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with California PT Board requirements.
