About The Position
Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) for a 14-week contract assignment in Grayson, GA. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality rehabilitative care to patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions.
Requirements
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Current PTA licensure in the state of Georgia (or eligibility)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team-based healthcare environment
Nice To Haves
- Prior clinical or rehab experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist Physical Therapists in implementing individualized treatment plans
- Provide therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities
- Support patients in improving strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination
- Monitor patient progress and document treatment responses accurately
- Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety techniques
- Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant therapy environment
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
