About The Position
Right at Home is seeking dedicated Physical Therapist Assistants to become vital members of our compassionate in-home care team. As a Right at Home Physical Therapist Assistant, you'll help clients improve mobility, function, and independence.
Requirements
- Current licensure to practice as a PTA in the state of Alabama.
- Must possess and maintain current CPR certification.
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs without assistance.
- Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance.
- Must pass a criminal background check.
Nice To Haves
- 2 years of experience preferred
- Home health or hospice experience a plus
Responsibilities
- Carry out physical therapy plans under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist clients with exercises and mobility training tailored to their condition and goals.
- Observe and report on client progress, and communicate effectively with the supervising PT and care team.
- Educate clients and their families on exercises and home safety practices.
- Work alongside other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and high-quality care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided and client progress.
- Provide encouragement and emotional support to clients to help them stay engaged in their recovery.
