About The Position
Future Colossal is looking for freelance Physical Technologists to support upcoming immersive installations and interactive experiences. This role is ideal for a hands-on maker, problem solver, and technical generalist with experience across AV, fabrication, networking/IT, electronics, and onsite installation. You’ll work with our producers, designers, developers, and creative technologists to help bring physical interactive experiences to life.
Requirements
- Proven experience in one or more of the following areas: Onsite AV installation, rigging, and production; AV system design and sourcing; Physical computing and custom electronics; IT/networking; Fabrication and/or digital fabrication; Mechanical engineering; Lighting or sound design; Experience with LiDAR, cameras, computer vision, or other sensors.
- Must currently live in the Greater New York City area.
