About The Position

We're looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Physical Security Systems Analyst to join our team in San Jose, United States. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day administration, support, and deployment of our enterprise physical security systems across global sites. You will ensure system stability, execute configurations and deployments, support end users and vendors, and partner with the Systems Lead on architecture and long-term strategy. The ideal candidate will combine hands-on technical expertise with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to translate operational needs into effective technical solutions.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with physical security systems and infrastructure, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and access control solutions
  • Strong knowledge of network security principles, protocols, and architecture
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze security incidents and implement effective responses
  • Understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Excellent documentation and communication abilities
  • Experience with scripting or automation for security tasks

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with cloud security and cloud-based security solutions
  • Knowledge of programming languages relevant to security analysis
  • Experience managing security incidents in a corporate environment

Responsibilities

  • Administer, monitor, and maintain enterprise physical security platforms including access control, video management, visitor management, and related systems (Lenel, Milestone, Axis, AMAG and similar platforms) to ensure optimal performance and stability
  • Execute system configurations, deployments, panel migrations, firmware updates, and reader configurations across global sites while maintaining detailed documentation and standard operating procedures
  • Validate system functionality after deployments and troubleshoot issues related to badging, access levels, video integration, and AD sync accuracy
  • Provide responsive technical support to end users across multiple locations, troubleshooting issues and implementing timely resolutions both remotely and on-site
  • Troubleshoot and respond promptly to system incidents, investigating root causes and implementing corrective actions to prevent future occurrences
  • Manage, track, and review service requests using internal platforms such as ServiceNow, SmartSheet, or similar tools
  • Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networking, and system performance across Windows, Linux, SQL, networking, and IoT environments
  • Run basic SQL queries for troubleshooting, reporting, and data validation to support system operations
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors, service providers, and security operations teams to maintain consistent global standards and ensure timely issue resolution
  • Conduct regular system assessments and analyze system logs to identify potential vulnerabilities, anomalies, unauthorized access attempts, and areas for improvement
  • Maintain comprehensive records of system configurations, incidents, assessments, and maintenance activities for audit and compliance purposes
