Physical Security Specialist
About The Position
KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Physical Security Specialist to join our team. This position will be onsite in Pax River, MD. This role does not allow for remote work or a compressed work schedule. Established in July 2013, KAIROS, Inc. is a growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing full life cycle Cybersecurity, Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Additive Manufacturing, and Training and Education services focused on optimizing customers’ program performance and mission through proven methodologies and ethical practices. This position will support security administration requirements at various facilities. Duties will include physical and/or industrial security, access control, and force protection. This position requires the ability to work independently, supporting our customers on site.
Requirements

- Must have a high school diploma
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
- This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
- In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation.
- This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities
- Carry out support tasks related to physical security administration within Security Operations Centers (SOC's) in multiple facilities on NAS Patuxent River.
- Camera surveillance, access control coverage
- First responder coordination, watch coordination
- Alarm testing, call box monitoring and testing, operating systems maintenance coordination
- Data retrieval, CAC PIN reset, swipe access processes
- Training record maintenance and other clerical/administrative duties as assigned
