It’s the way you want to be treated. Position Summary: Provides clinical and clerical support relating to department activities. Performs diverse duties to provide support to the functions of the rehabilitation service line. Cross-trained and regularly works as the primary technician for the inpatient rehabilitation unit or serves as an office receptionist/secretary. Participates in training of new technicians. Trained to assist in rehabilitation treatments under the direct supervision of a PT/PTA, OTR/COTA, and/or SLP.

Requirements

High school graduate or equivalent.
CPR Certification.
Excellent customer services skills.
Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment.

Nice To Haves

Previous tech experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Transports patients from rooms and other areas
Completes daily therapy scheduling for inpatient rehab unit
Promotes a clean and safe environment of care, utilizing the SAFE error prevention habits
Completes various business office duties as needed
Responsible for inventory and supply orders
Skillfully performs treatments as assigned under appropriate direction
Completes data entry of billing in a timely manner as applicable
Trains new therapy techs
May be assigned any rehab site or service per department needs
Provides the highest standard of privacy and confidentiality in matters involving patients, coworkers, and the hospital by abiding by the Standards of Conduct
