About The Position

This position offers a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) Physician the opportunity to specialize in wound management. The role emphasizes clinical satisfaction, autonomy, flexibility, and work-life balance, with no nights, call, or weekend clinical responsibilities. Physicians will become experts in wound care, learning from experienced trainers and utilizing advanced technologies. The practice involves providing bedside wound care in over 3,200 facilities across 28 states. Comprehensive training and a wound fellowship are provided. Physicians are W2 employees and can expect to earn an average of $300,000 per year plus benefits for a 30-hour work week, with part-time opportunities available. The practice is mobile, with physicians visiting 2-3 facilities per day within a 40-60 mile radius and treating approximately 20-30 patients daily. Clinical documentation is performed in real-time using a proprietary wound-specific EMR.

Requirements

Active unrestricted medical license (MD/DO) in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 weekdays per week.
Full, active, and unrestricted license in the state you wish to practice.
Minimum commitment of 3 days a week within our working days of Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

Provide bedside wound care in post-acute care settings (Skilled Nursing Facilities and Long-Term Acute Care Hospitals).
Conduct weekly wound rounds at each facility.
