About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is hiring friendly, energetic instructors to teach fun, beginner-level physical education and sports activities to children in Grades K–3 at various elementary schools across the Bay Area. Training, lesson plans, and equipment are provided. The position is in person and offers a flexible part-time schedule of approximately 2–5 hours per week. Classes are 1–1.5 hours long and are scheduled Monday through Friday between 1:00 and 5:00 PM; weekend opportunities may be available. Compensation is listed as $18.00–$24.00 per hour and also as $50.00–$65.00 per hour in the posting.

Requirements

• Must be at least 19 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoys working with children.
• Reliable, positive, and willing to learn.
• Good communication and classroom management skills.
• Reliable transportation.
• Able to complete a background check.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.; visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice To Haves

• Sports playing or coaching experience is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead engaging physical education and sports activities for children.
• Manage groups of 8–10 children.
• Set up equipment and take attendance.
• Keep classes safe, active, and enjoyable.
• Communicate with parents and school staff.
