About The Position

The Vanderlande Administrator is responsible for handling the administrative processes associated with outbound shipments. This includes preparing shipping documentation, coordinating with forwarding, tracking orders, and ensuring that all customer orders are shipped accurately and on time. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining operational efficiency and delivering excellent customer service. Requirements

  • Prior experience in a shipping or warehouse administrative role, preferably in a distribution or logistics environment.
  • Proficiency with WMS.
  • Strong data entry and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent (logistics or supply chain coursework is a plus).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Excel
  • Experience in a high-volume distribution center or e-commerce environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and process shipping documents including packing slips, shipping labels, bills of lading.
  • Coordinate daily outbound shipments with warehouse fowarding teams and transportation carriers.
  • Ensure accurate and timely entry of shipping data into Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and SharePoint.
  • Verify shipment contents and packaging accuracy prior to dispatch.
  • Schedule pickups
  • Track outgoing shipments and provide delivery status updates to relevant teams or customers.
  • Resolve shipping discrepancies or delays with internal departments.
  • Maintain accurate records of all shipping activities for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Support the warehouse team with other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Assist in generating reports related to shipping performance, freight costs, and on-time delivery metrics.
