About The Position

CHI Health Clinic and Creighton University School of Medicine are seeking a BC/BE PM&R Physician that is committed to a multi-disciplinary team approach to care. This role involves managing patients in an inpatient rehab unit, functioning as the rehabilitation team leader. There is a dual-management model with Hospitalists co-managing all patients. The average census is 8-12 patients per physiatrist. There are no in-house weekend calls, as Inpatient Hospitalist coverage is provided on the weekends, with physiatrists on home call for rehab-related issues. The position includes participation in the education and mentorship of CUSOM medical students. There is an opportunity for growth to add Outpatient clinics in the continuum of care in Brain Injury, SCI, Amputation, and Stroke, as well as spasticity management (chemo denervation, ITB pump refills), based on provider interest. EMG is available in the clinic with robust referral volume if interested. A large Primary care, Ortho, and Spine surgery partner base is available for inpatient and outpatient referrals. The position offers a competitive salary, CME allowance, and relocation allowance.

Requirements

American Board Certified or Board Eligible in Specified Area of Medical Specialty
A valid and unrestricted state medical license or license-eligible
