About The Position

United Health Services Hospitals is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Physician for Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (PM&R) to join their Orthopedics practice in Binghamton, NY. This practice serves a regional referral base and is supported by a large, established primary care team within the UHS system. The current team includes specialists in total joint surgery, hand surgery, sports medicine, and trauma surgery, along with two physiatrists. The practice utilizes Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to enhance patient care and is supported by excellent clinical and administrative staff. The facility is state-of-the-art and includes Physical Therapy, Podiatry, Chiropractic, and Rheumatology services, promoting a multidisciplinary approach. There are opportunities for teaching residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University, involvement in the education of the UHS sports medicine fellow, and participation in clinical research.

Requirements

• BC/BE PM&R Physician
• Must accept U.S. J1 & H1B Visas

Responsibilities

• Provide Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation services.
• Teach residents and medical students from Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
• Participate in the education of the UHS sports medicine fellow.
• Participate in clinical research.
