About The Position
The Tri-County Regional Centre for Education (TCRCE) is seeking a teacher for a permanent position. This role is a combination assignment, with 30% dedicated to teaching Physical Education and 70% dedicated to teaching Grade 5 English Language Arts. TCRCE serves approximately 6100 students in twenty-two schools across Shelburne, Yarmouth, and Digby counties.
Requirements
- Valid Nova Scotia Teacher Certification
- Bachelor of Education – Elementary
- University education in Kinesiology, Human Kinetics, or Physical Education
- Values working alongside those with diverse backgrounds and cultures.
- Demonstrated ability to value the voice and contribution of others while remaining open to corrective criticism.
- Completion of WHMIS and First Aid, or willingness to obtain upon hire.
