About The Position

PHX Fray is seeking fun, outgoing, energetic, and reliable individuals to join part-time as a Coordinator/Host. This role is ideal for those who love team and bar sports, have played since childhood, and potentially have coaching or refereeing experience. The successful candidate will be adept at working without direct supervision, solving problems, handling dynamic situations calmly, and ensuring everyone has a blast by 'Making Fun Possible'. The primary mission of Coordinators/Hosts is to make league night the best night of the week for members. They are integral to the United Fray brand, leading on the field, setting the tone, and embodying enthusiasm. This involves activities like creating league trophies, bringing speakers to games, or initiating social activities like Flip Cup at sponsor bars. Coordinators/Hosts are present at every game, provide leadership to ensure rules are followed, and manage event setup and tear down. They also serve as brand ambassadors, capturing and sharing content from leagues. Requirements

Love team sports and bar sports.

Ability to get everyone back in the groove and ensure everyone is having a blast.
Multi-Sport playing or reffing experience.
Creative, over-the-top, and electric personality.

Nice To Haves

Passion or background in sports.
Any ref licensing or accreditation is encouraged but not required for team sports.

Responsibilities

Make league night the best night of the week for members by producing a fun and energetic experience.
Lead on the field, set the tone, and embody the United Fray brand.
Show up for every game, provide leadership, and ensure rules are followed.
Handle set up and tear down of events and transport equipment if needed.
Act as a brand ambassador, getting content while at leagues and tagging the company.
Run nightly operations for sports leagues, including reffing/hosting games, tracking scores, communicating with players, and executing evening tasks.
Act as the local “FACE” of PHX Fray.
Commit for the entire season (7-week season) or multiple seasons.
Arrive 30 minutes early to scheduled games.
Update scores nightly using a smartphone.
Create a hospitable environment, provide organization, cheerleading, and general oversight of games in their league.
Attend New Hire Orientation and League Training.
Send at least one weekly email to communicate changes, game times, news, or upcoming events (for coordinators or single hosts).
Maintain the league equipment bag during the season (for coordinators).
