The Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an intensive five-day treatment program serving children and adolescents ages 5 through 17 who are experiencing emotional or behavioral problems. Patients follow a personalized treatment plan for therapy and medication management. They are only required to be in the hospital during their scheduled PHP hours. JOB SUMMARY: Responsible for quality psychoeducational and psychotherapeutic treatment of pediatric and adolescent. This is accomplished through preparation and facilitation of regular group therapy sessions designed to meet patients’ needs. The Group Facilitator guides and directs patient participation during group sessions, effectively addresses group dynamics, and observes patients’ individual responses to discussion and content. Responsible for documenting group notes including content, individual observations, and individual progress towards treatment goals. Maintains open communication with the Director of PHP Services, milieu management and treatment teams to support quality service delivery and ensure adherence to the daily programming schedule. Follows all policies/procedures related to release of information and Confidentiality. Regularly attends clinical supervision.
