About The Position

As an Equipment Maintenance Technician at onsemi’s 200mm manufacturing facility in Gresham, Oregon, you will work in a team environment performing preventive, corrective, and diagnostic maintenance on a variety of semiconductor manufacturing tools. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and improving equipment reliability, as well as contributing to maintenance procedures and potentially training and mentoring other technicians.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of prior technician experience with photo-area equipment, including ASML PAS 5500, Nikon i14, TEL Act8, DNS 200W, and DNS 80A/B/EX.
• Associate degree or higher.
• High attention to detail.
• Methodical approach to troubleshooting and project management.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-motivated, with the ability to work independently under general guidance and direction.
• Ability to independently learn systems and processes associated with the role.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Use diagnostic equipment to monitor equipment performance, identify root causes, and recommend reliability improvements.
• Dismantle, adjust, and repair equipment according to maintenance specifications and repair manuals.
• Use schematics, hand tools, electrical gauges, and common test equipment to calibrate, diagnose, and repair equipment.
• Recommend and write maintenance procedures and specifications.
• Provide training and mentoring to other technicians as an opportunity.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
