About The Position

This is a summer internship position for a Photolithography Equipment Intern. The intern will assist senior engineers and maintenance technicians in various aspects of semiconductor equipment, including design, development, testing, troubleshooting, and routine maintenance. The role involves conducting research, data analysis, and supporting factory experiments to minimize factory impacts. The intern will collaborate with cross-functional teams, participate in technical reviews, and learn industry best practices. Responsibilities also include preparing technical reports and documentation.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Engineering.
  • Eagerness for hands-on experience working directly on semiconductor equipment.
  • Strong academic record and a genuine interest in semiconductors, electronics, or embedded systems.
  • Basic understanding of statistical process control and six sigma concepts.
  • Basic understanding of digital and/or analog electronics concepts.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Proactive attitude, eagerness to learn, and attention to detail.
  • Must be returning to school or graduating at the conclusion of the internship term (Summer 2027).

Responsibilities

  • Assist senior engineers in the design, development, and testing of semiconductor products and solutions.
  • Assist senior engineers or maintenance technicians with hands-on troubleshooting.
  • Assist maintenance technicians with PMs and other routine maintenance.
  • Conduct research, data analysis, and documentation related to ongoing CIP projects.
  • Support factory activities, including setting up and performing experiments, collecting data, analyzing, and interpreting results to drive down factory impacts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve project goals and deadlines.
  • Participate in technical reviews and contribute to problem-solving discussions.
  • Learn and apply industry-standard tools, methodologies, and best practices.
  • Prepare technical reports, presentations, and other project documentation.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support engineering initiatives.
