About The Position

This role involves shooting quality, compelling video for daily sports and news, as well as weather, specials, and station websites under tight deadlines. The photographer will also edit stories in-studio and in the field using Adobe Premier Pro, operate live technologies like LiveU and Dejero systems, and collaborate to develop stories using video and natural sound. The position requires responding and working well in a crisis and during breaking news, handling last-minute changes, and communicating quickly and clearly with the news team. Professional and courteous conduct is expected when representing the station.

Requirements

• Proficient with current broadcast cameras and non-linear editing equipment.
• Ability to work alone and with a reporter.
• Must be reliable and able to work additional hours if needed as well as travel as required.
• Must possess valid driver's license and clean driving record as determined by the Company.
• Good news judgment and thorough understanding of daily news content.
• Ability to read, write and speak English well.
• Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Ability to learn and run ENG trucks required.

Nice To Haves

• Prior experience at a network-affiliated news operation preferred.
