About The Position

Systems Application & Technologies, Inc. (SA-TECH) is seeking a Photographer to join their Test Range team at Dugway Proving Ground (DPG) in Utah. This role will support program efforts at a major DoD Test Facility, utilizing specialized camera and video systems to capture data and perform optical data reduction. The position involves working with high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems, as well as employing digital processing, printing, still photography, videography, and digital imaging techniques. The work environment includes indoor industrial settings and potential outdoor field work under varying weather conditions. Candidates must be able to lift and handle heavy items, move equipment, and perform physical tasks such as standing, walking, climbing, stooping, bending, pushing, and pulling for extended periods. Wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is also required.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
Formal training on high-speed camera systems, tracking telescope systems, and video systems.
Good working knowledge of math to operate tracking telescopes, video systems, fixed cameras to obtain data measurements and perform optical data reduction.
Experience in digital processing (motion/still), printing, still photography, videography and digital imaging techniques.
A commitment to maintaining a productive and collaborative working environment.
Current Driver’s License required; must be able to be insured through company’s vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must have a U.S. DoD Secret Security Clearance prior to hire date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening and physical, as well as periodic retests.
All candidates will be required to pass background screening to include SSN, Driver’s Record, and a Criminal Background Investigation.
