About The Position

The Photographer is responsible for producing high-quality images. Key metrics for the role may include: Image quality and meeting production targets.

Requirements

• 3-year college diploma in photography or equivalent experience
• At least 3-5 years of experience in product photography
• Relevant knowledge of the mechanical workings of photographic equipment
• Proven proficiency in Photoshop in a professional environment
• Proven organizational skills, possessing a high level of attention to detail
• Strong time management skills with the proven ability to work under pressure with tight and changing deadlines
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and bend to pick up products up to 49 lbs up to 25% of the time
• Must be able to stand for extended periods of time or climb a stepladder

Nice To Haves

• Experience in capturing products, table-top photography, 2D, planogram, Ecommerce and nutrition an asset
• Bilingual (French/English) language skills are an asset

Responsibilities

• Captures all required images to GS1 Canada standards, ensuring deadlines are met
• Ensures image exposure and lighting setup are appropriate for each product type
• Ensures colour management and white balance are consistent within the workflow
• Ensures that the proper naming convention is used to file images
• Provide maximum quality images, ensuring efficiency for the next step of production
• Ensures that images are delivered within established deadlines
