About The Position

ACTIVSTARS is hiring a Photo Team Sales Assistant for its youth cheer and soccer programs. The role involves event-style photography rather than studio photography and includes selling and upselling photos, posing children, setting up and taking down photography equipment, and basic record-keeping. The company provides equipment and some training; the employee must provide transportation and be willing to learn. Locations are valley-wide. The position is described as part-time, with weekday evening work and some Saturday and Sunday event dates. One schedule description gives evenings as approximately 5–10 p.m., two to three times per week; another gives approximately 4:00–9:30 p.m. Pay is $75–$85 per night plus bonuses, excluding drive and travel time. Applicants must have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, a current driver’s license, and be able to pass a background check and drug screen; a fingerprint clearance card is part of the hiring process.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Have previous or some photography experience and knowledge of DSLR cameras.
Enjoy working with children ages 4–15.
Have consistent weekday evening availability; the posting describes evening hours as approximately 5–10 p.m. and approximately 4:00–9:30 p.m., with scheduling two to three evenings per week.
Have reliable transportation, proof of insurance, and a current driver’s license.
Pass a background check and drug screen; obtain a fingerprint clearance card as part of the hiring process.

Nice To Haves

Experience photographing children or doing event photography.
