About The Position

Doc’s Diesel is hiring a full-time, on-site Photo Studio Assistant in Bryan, Ohio. The role is responsible for silo and studio product photography for ecommerce and marketplace listings and supports the on-site Photographer and Videographer during lifestyle and brand shoots. It is designed as a growth path: the assistant will develop practical skills on real assignments and may grow into a Photographer or Videographer role over time based on demonstrated ability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with photography or visual content creation through coursework, freelance work, an internship, or a strong personal portfolio.
• Basic skills with a DSLR or mirrorless camera and studio lighting.
• Basic proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Submit a portfolio of work with the application.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

• Basic video capture or editing experience.
• Interest in trucks, diesel, automotive, or enthusiast culture.

Responsibilities

• Shoot clean, consistent silo product photography for web, packaging, and marketplace listings.
• Set up studio lighting, backgrounds, camera gear, and product staging for shoots.
• Prepare, clean, and style diesel and automotive parts according to the style guide.
• Assist the Photographer and Videographer on set for lifestyle and brand shoots.
• Edit and color-correct images in Photoshop so they are ready for publication.
• Organize finished photo and video assets and track shoot requests through ClickUp.
• Keep the studio, equipment, and props clean and ready for shoots.
• Build skills toward a Photographer or Videographer role over time.
