Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years or more of phlebotomy experience drawing patients of all ages

Nice To Haves

Phlebotomy certification from an accredited agency
Strong knowledge of phlebotomy techniques, specimen handling, and compliance requirements
Proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to lead, coach, and develop team members
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision
Strong organizational and time management skills
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
Flexibility to travel and work overtime as needed
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Must be at least 21 years of age with a valid driver’s license and clean driving record

Responsibilities

Supervise a team of Training Coordinators and Site Coordinators across Patient Service Centers and/or client locations
Oversee onboarding and training programs to ensure competency in phlebotomy procedures, systems, and company policies
Coordinate and optimize staffing schedules to ensure appropriate coverage and efficient patient flow
Monitor productivity, training completion, and performance metrics; report and address any deviations
Partner with Site Coordinators to manage patient flow, wait times, and operational efficiency
Develop, implement, and update training materials and programs to support quality and service goals
Provide coaching, performance feedback, and development support to team members
Assist with hiring, training, and onboarding of new employees
Partner with Human Resources regarding employee relations issues and performance management
Serve as a resource for procedural, compliance, and technical questions
Address and resolve patient, client, and staff concerns in a timely and professional manner
Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including patients, client staff, leadership, and support teams
Support new site openings and operational initiatives as needed
Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and processing when necessary
Travel to additional sites as needed
