About The Position
The Phlebotomy Technician Per Diem will be responsible for accurately registering outpatients, obtaining blood samples, and performing EKGs. This role requires demonstrating knowledge and skills appropriate to the age and level of difficulty of the patient (Neonates, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, Geriatrics). The technician performs routine and assigned functions under the direction of the Phlebotomy Supervisor and/or designee.
Requirements
- Strong customer service skills
- Highly motivated, enthusiastic team player

- Medical Terminology
- ICD 10 coding
- CRT data experience
- Knowledge of third party payer, federal and state regulations
- Bilingual ability (Spanish/English)
