This position is for a Phlebotomy Technician II at High Point Medical Center, working PRN (as needed) to cover FTE PTO, call outs, and high census periods. The role involves accurate and timely collection of blood specimens, patient identification, and delivery of samples to appropriate lab sections, all while adhering to safety and identification procedures. The technician is expected to improve skills through self-study and continuing education, contribute to efficient department operation, and protect self and coworkers by following policies to prevent disease spread. Professionalism and age-appropriate specimen collection are also key.
