About The Position

Responsible for performing all phlebotomist duties, including routine blood collection on appropriate age groups. Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the ages of patients in the assigned area.

Requirements

• Graduate of a vocational program in phlebotomy or three months of phlebotomy experience.
• High school diploma, GED, or certificate.

Nice To Haves

• Demonstrated ability to interact successfully with patients, staff, and other healthcare providers, and excellent communication skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant computer skills for the patient identification system and specimen processing functions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Successful completion of the Basic Arrhythmia test.
• Valid driver's license.
