About The Position

This position is responsible for collecting and labeling specimens for testing. The role involves maintaining computerized records, resolving and troubleshooting outstanding specimens/collections, and practicing universal precautions, barrier protection methods, infection control, and isolation procedures when working with body fluids and other contagia to ensure a safe work environment. Issues, problems, and opportunities are escalated to the supervisory level for resolution.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2 years of phlebotomy experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Medical terminology.
