About The Position

PAML a LabCorp company is seeking a Phlebotomy Team Lead to join our team in Kennewick, WA. In this role you will provide exceptional customer service, perform skilled specimen collections and be the face of the company. In addition, you will be provided opportunities for continuous growth within the organization. This position will cover sites in Kennewick, WA and surrounding areas (50+ miles).

Requirements

Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
2 or more years of phlebotomy experience
Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
Be 21 years of age or older
Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
Flexibility to work overtime as needed
Exceptional customer service
Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
Ability to work independently or in a team environment
Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

1 or more years of healthcare leadership experience
Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
1 or more years of current or prior phlebotomy experience at Labcorp

Responsibilities

Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy job duties
Assist in start and setup of new client locations
Support administrative operations for phlebotomy team in local market
Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings
Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed
Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed
Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed
