Requirements

  • Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License
  • 2 or more years of phlebotomy experience
  • Ability to work in fast paced / high volume work environments
  • Able to pass a standardized color blindness test
  • Be 21 years of age or older
  • Have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Exceptional customer service
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Ability to work independently or in a team environment
  • Comfortable working under minimal supervision

Nice To Haves

  • 1 or more years of healthcare leadership experience
  • Bilingual with proficiency in Spanish and English
  • 1 or more years of current or prior phlebotomy experience at Labcorp

Responsibilities

  • Provide coverage and travel to various sites to perform phlebotomy job duties
  • Assist in start and setup of new client locations
  • Support administrative operations for phlebotomy team in local market
  • Perform site inspections on a regular basis and accurately report all findings
  • Provide continuous training to phlebotomy staff as directed
  • Manage and monitor patient flow, wait times, inventory levels and information logs
  • Address any customer service-related issues in a prompt and respectful manner
  • Review daily/weekly schedule with supervisor and making schedule adjustments as needed
  • Promote teamwork, cohesiveness and effective communication among coworkers
  • Perform all duties of a phlebotomist and site coordinator as needed
