Requirements

Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and phlebotomy best practices
Ability to lead with confidence, professionalism, and accountability
Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy and safety
Comfortable working with EHR systems and data entry tools
Ability to work collaboratively while also operating independently
High School Diploma or equivalent
Current Phlebotomy Certification (required)
Minimum of 5 years of phlebotomy experience
Ability to work with patients of all ages (pediatrics through geriatrics)

Nice To Haves

Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee daily phlebotomy operations including staffing, scheduling, training, and supervision
Lead and mentor a team to ensure high-quality specimen collection and patient care
Develop and maintain systems for: Specimen collection & processing Data entry accuracy Instrument calibration Specialized testing (e.g., stimulation tests, injections)
Manage inventory, supplies, and cost control
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Troubleshoot operational challenges and handle complex situations independently
Collaborate with providers and leadership to support clinic efficiency and patient flow
Support training and oversight of students or trainees when applicable
