About The Position

Diagnostic Laboratory of Oklahoma (DLO) is hiring a Phlebotomy Services Rep I in Grove, Oklahoma. The role involves collecting specimens from patients of all age groups, including inpatients and outpatients, and performing clerical duties and computer data entry. The employee must provide professional, customer-focused service, work independently and collaboratively, follow DLO safety and compliance policies, and be prepared to adjust their schedule to help cover other shifts as needed. The stated schedule is Friday, 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m., with rotating holidays.

Requirements

• Must be able to work both independently and as a team member.
• Must comply with all DLO safety and compliance policies.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with clients, patients, and staff in person and by telephone.
• Must have excellent patient service skills.
• Must be able to adjust the schedule to help cover other shifts as needed.

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of phlebotomy procedures, specimen requirements, and basic computer use is helpful.
• Phlebotomy certification is preferred but not required.
• Previous phlebotomy experience in a clinic or hospital setting is preferred.
• Experience working with or interacting with patients in a hospital setting is preferred.
