Phlebotomy Coordinator: 36 Hours Per Week (PM/Midnights)
About The Position
The Phlebotomy Coordinator is responsible for hospital-site phlebotomy and clerical functions. The role supports timely completion of daily departmental activities, including specimen collection, reference testing, patient-information data entry, site correspondence, billing, and statistical reporting. The coordinator also contributes to staff scheduling and performance appraisals and maintains files. The position is expected to foster a healing environment for employees and patients, consistent with the philosophy of the Catholic healthcare systems. The position is based at Franciscan Health Indianapolis, 8111 South Emerson Ave., Indianapolis, Indiana 46237. Shifts are 10 hours, with start times between 7:30 PM and 9:00 PM, following a seven-days-on/seven-days-off schedule. Hours may vary according to business needs, and weekend and/or holiday rotation is required. The position is listed as 0.9 FTE.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Three years of experience in phlebotomy.
- One year of experience in laboratory clerical duties.

Responsibilities
