About The Position

The Phlebotomist is responsible for obtaining blood and other specimens for laboratory testing according to physician's orders. Obtains needed supplies, verifies patient Identification, prepares skin site and performs venipunctures according to established aseptic techniques. Labels specimen and transport it to Laboratory for analysis.

Requirements

  • Education: HS Diploma or GED equivalent. Post HS education through accredited phlebotomy training program preferred
  • Licensure: PBT (ASCP) Certification or equivalent preferred
  • Experience: At least one year of experience preferred
