Performs phlebotomy functions and non–technical duties. This role involves drawing blood via venipuncture, fingerstick, and heelstick according to established procedures, ensuring patient identification and proper specimen labeling. The phlebotomist will also manage STAT draws, utilize computer systems for order entry and record keeping, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Additionally, the position may involve training new employees, acting as a receptionist, and adhering to all safety and organizational policies.
