About The Position

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join their clinical team. This is a part-time position with a night shift/variable schedule, working Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The base pay rate starts at $16.92/hr+, with additional shift differential pay based on experience. HVCH is a critical access hospital serving the rural Logan, Ohio area, with a strong focus on patient care and community health. They are affiliated with OSU Wexner Medical Center and are recognized for high patient satisfaction and employee well-being.

Requirements

  • Successful completion of a phlebotomy education program or equivalent clinical experience as a medical assistant or related certification.
  • Certification/Registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency preferred.
  • Must have completed a phlebotomy program with a minimum of 50 successful collections.
  • Must have 1 year of phlebotomy work experience.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Treats patient and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image.
  • Works well as a team member.
  • Ensures confidentiality and security of patients' medical information.
