About The Position

Hocking Valley Community Hospital (HVCH) is currently seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join their friendly, patient-centered clinical team. This is a part-time position with a night shift/variable schedule, specifically covering Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. The base pay rate starts at $16.92/hr+ based on experience, with additional shift differential pay offered.

Requirements

Successful completion of a phlebotomy education program or equivalent clinical experience as a medical assistant or related certification preferred.
Certification/Registration by a nationally recognized accrediting agency preferred.
Must have completed phlebotomy program with a minimum of 50 successful collections.
Must have 1 year of phlebotomy work experience.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent customer service skills.
Treats patient and others with courtesy and respect, presenting a positive public image.
Works well as a team member.
Ensures confidentiality and security of patients' medical information.

Responsibilities

Perform phlebotomy duties.
Provide patient care in a clinical setting.
