About The Position

This position is responsible for verifying request, patient, and specimen information. The Phlebotomist draws blood from adult, pediatric, and/or infant patients and processes specimens following established procedures and techniques. They also follow in-process quality control procedures, maintain related records, and remain aware of the patient's emotional/physiological condition, reporting any abnormal conditions to the appropriate personnel. This role performs related duties as required and is considered an ADA Essential Function.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
• Minimum of one (1) year Phlebotomy experience OR Phlebotomy/Medical Assistant education program, required.

Nice To Haves

• Certified in Phlebotomy from a National Organization, preferred.
• Knowledge of laboratory computer, preferred.
