About The Position
Parachute is building a faster, friendlier plasma donation experience powered by technology and a welcoming, personal team. The Phlebotomist is a key member of the site’s lean team and plays a critical role in the donor experience. The role performs venipuncture for plasmapheresis and supports fast-paced daily operations, collaborating with center staff to create a positive environment for donors and the team. It offers the opportunity to grow with a high-growth organization and take on additional responsibilities.
Requirements
- At least 18 years old.
- High school diploma, GED equivalent, or higher education.
- Able to lift 50 pounds and stand or sit for extended periods.
- Able to work three 12-hour shifts, including weekends, regularly or as needed.
- At least 2 years of experience in phlebotomy, the medical field, or customer service.
Responsibilities
- Manage donor-floor activities, including setup, phlebotomy, disconnect, and documentation.
- Set up donor stations and ensure equipment is calibrated and ready.
- Welcome donors and guide them through the donation process.
- Collaborate with all center staff.
- Take on new responsibilities as opportunities arise.
