Requirements

• High school or GED
• Associate degree
• Phlebotomy certification
• Experience with EHR systems
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
• Excellent patient service skills

• Ability to maintain equipment and supplies
• Accurate documentation skills
• Understanding of patient confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Perform venipunctures, capillary sticks, and other specimen collection techniques
• Reviewing patient chart and ordering correct lab test in EHR system
• Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and processing of specimens
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols
• Provide excellent patient service with professionalism and empathy
• Maintain equipment and supplies in a clean, organized manner
• Document procedures accurately and maintain patient confidentiality
