About The Position

Responsible for performing and reporting results of all diagnostic tests offered by UNITY HEALTH Laboratory while participating in QA, IC, Safety QCI, and proficiency testing programs as required by OSHA and CLIA 88. This position requires knowledge in the care of patients served as indicated: Neonate and infant birth up to one year, Childhood and Adolescence is one year to 17 years, Adult is 18 to 65 years and Geriatric is 65 years and above.

Requirements

• High School Diploma required.
• At least one year minimum experience in phlebotomy and venipuncture is required.
• Must demonstrate a willingness to learn.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with all hospital personnel.
• Must present a courteous and professional manner to the public.
• Experience in the care of Neonate and infant (birth up to one year), Childhood and Adolescence (one year to 17 years), Adult (18 to 65 years), and Geriatric (65 years and above) patients.
