About The Position

Labcorp is seeking a part-time Phlebotomist to work in Owasso, Oklahoma. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM. The role performs blood collections and specimen processing while providing patient service and supporting related administrative tasks. Travel to additional sites may be needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of experience as a phlebotomist.
• If qualifying in lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program must come from an accredited agency.
• Proven record of providing exceptional customer service.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a team environment.
• Comfort working under minimal supervision.
• Reliable transportation and a clean driving record, if applicable.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to pass a standardized color blindness test.

Nice To Haves

• Phlebotomy certification or completion of a phlebotomy training program.

Responsibilities

• Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for patients of all age groups.
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, and other testing.
• Enter patient information accurately and in a timely manner.
• Process billing information and collect payments when required.
• Prepare collected specimens for testing and analysis.
• Maintain patient and specimen information logs.
• Provide superior customer service to patients.
• Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.
• Travel to additional sites when needed.
