About The Position
Friendship Village is seeking a compassionate and energetic Phlebotomist to join its Health Center team. The role provides high-quality blood collection services to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. The position is part-time, scheduled from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m. twice a week, with starting pay of $21 per hour.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited phlebotomy training program.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for specimen delivery.
Nice To Haves
- Current phlebotomy certification is preferred.
- Previous experience in skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare settings is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide professional phlebotomy services to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities.
- Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collection safely, accurately, and compassionately.
- Verify patient identity and laboratory orders before collecting specimens.
- Deliver specimens.
