About The Position

A PRN Phlebotomist is needed to join the MUSC/Florence, SC team. This role primarily involves drawing and collecting blood samples from patients, verifying records, and preparing specimens for laboratory analysis. Responsibilities may also include pricking fingers to draw blood and conducting interviews, taking vital signs, and drawing and testing blood samples to screen donors at a blood bank. The position is with MUSC Health Florence Medical Center, a leading regional acute care facility with 396 patient beds, over 1,500 employees, and nearly 300 physicians. The center offers a comprehensive range of services including heart and vascular care, cancer treatment, orthopedic and general surgery, diagnostics, women’s health, and rehabilitation services, and features an Emergency Department, an accredited Chest Pain Center, and a recognized Primary Stroke Center. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Must have 250+ sticks for application consideration
Internal candidates are required to submit and meet Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements
External candidates are required to complete Path and Lab ICCE Career Ladder requirements within 90 days in position
