About The Position

This is a PRN opportunity for an Ultrasound Tech at Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA), specifically at MUSC Health Florence Medical Center. The role involves operating ultrasonic equipment to produce diagnostic images of the body's organs and tissues. The Ultrasound Tech will perform sonographic examinations to locate, evaluate, and record critical functional, pathological, and anatomical data. Responsibilities also include recording test results, inspecting and maintaining equipment, and ordering supplies. The position requires reviewing physician requisition orders and patient preparation instructions, and may involve communicating with the OB/GYN nursing team regarding patient status. A key function is performing ultrasound imaging for fetal diagnosis and anomaly detection for high-risk patients. Requirements

  • Graduate of an approved and accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or ARDMS registered, or registry eligible/obtained within one year of hire.
  • CPR certification required.

Responsibilities
